Metal Scrapes Sound Pack

35 free metal scrape sound effects designed for any creative project. We set up our trusty professional recorders inside our studio workshop and set about performing and recording these metal sound effects over the course of a couple of hours. Hunting through our props collection, we found some old metal struts, parts of a metal garage door, several metal tools including a handsaw and sharp spikes and we sprung into action. Experimenting with each prop, we slid, scraped and scratched each tool into the metal surfaces, capturing various intensities and lengths for each. The spike on the metal door section produced some heavy screeching metal sounds, while the other hand tools tended to produce smoother metal scrape sounds. Use these sounds as is (they are edited and ready to go) or we encourage you to experiment applying effects and manipulating them into whatever you like. The metal screech sound effects are particularly good pitched down to produce an even larger sound. Think the sound of a ship hull scraping against rocks. These are ideal sound effects for filmmakers, game developers, sound designers and any other creative type.
