Thanks you to the entire zapsplat team for creating such a wonderful resource. Firstly you are now my first stop, go to library for free sound effects, but secondly, I even come to you before I go to the libraries I pay for sounds from. Great sounds, great, website and great service.

Please pass this message on to your sound designers. I signed up to your site recently with a nagging doubt in my head that this was just another site of low quality samples. But boy was I wrong, the selection is outstanding and the quality is awesome, even the mp3 versions. I don’t have a need to upgrade as you provide everything I need but I will be donating in the future. Thank you.

It’s a rare find these days that a service such as this (which truly is free, no catches) exists and seems to just grow on a daily basis. So I started college and our lecturer had us all sign up to zapsplat.com for our projects (media) and said we’d be able to use all your sounds for free. I reckon I’ve used over 100 so far and when I come back for more, you seem to have the sounds I am looking for.

My experience with zapsplat has so far been totally amazing. I am an independent filmmaker so have very little money and time for finding good sound effects for my work. Often I need a variety of sounds that bigger studios create using Foley techniques but that’s just way off for me. So it was perfect timing for me to stumble across (recommended by a good friend) this library, a bank of free sound effects that literally are ready to go at the click of a button. For this I salute you all. Just 2 small requests. Firstly I really would love to see a sound’s length on each result and secondly, maybe a way to save a selection to a list to come back to later and download? Regardless, what a brilliant website and selection.

I am possibly one of the fussiest people when it comes to sounds and I normally get frustrated at not being able to find what I want quickly online. So it’s so refreshing to find a resource like Zapsplat.com that provides not only a massive range of sounds to download instantly with possibly the world’s simplest registration process, but a place where I can post a request and it seems you’ll record it for me quickly. I haven’t requested any sounds yet but I will soon. Thanks.
