ZapSplat is a sound effects library that has grown and grown since we launched in 2015 with just 6,000 sounds. Since then we have uploaded over 100,000 free sound effects, now see over 20,000 people download our sounds per day and as such our costs have risen dramatically.
By upgrading, you’re helping support our growth so we can add new sounds daily, help pay our increasing server and cloud storage costs and also pay the wages required to keep our website/library operating.
Rather than just ask for donations, we decided to offer a premium tier (Gold Accounts) which in return for your monthly (£4) or yearly (£30) subscription, you get a whole lot more. These benefits include: thousands of extra premium sound effects and more royalty free music, premium sound packs, unlimited downloads, professional quality wav files, sound lists, more results per page, remove ads and all up-coming benefits as we add them.
Without our upgraded members, we wouldn’t exist. While our focus will always be on free sound effects, we also now focus a lot of time on adding more premium content as we aim for our next milestone, 200,000 sounds!
