Yes, to keep the standards that our members expect, we only accept sound effects or music files at a minimum or 44.1kHz and 16bit WAV files. We are also strict on quality, so we ask the following:

• Sounds and music must be recorded on a good quality recorder. iPhone or mobile recordings are not what we are looking for.
• Edit your sounds well. We look for basic editing techniques such as ‘toping-and-tailing’, small fade ins and outs at the beginning and end of each audio file to stop clicks if required, normalising audio files where appropriate, adding meta data ...
