After one of our members submitted a request for a variation of drinking can sound effects, we couldn’t help but oblige. They asked for some different ‘can being put down’ sounds and a close up of gentle cruses. Using a range of different sized cans, we settled on a larger 500ml can which produced a better tone and clearer sound.
These new free sound effects contain the can being put down (both full and empty), picking up and crushing. You can download them here.
Next up we have been creating some new plastic Foley recordings. We actually needed a some plastic creaking sounds for a project we are working on, so using a small halloween tub, we experimented with applying pressure, while miking up both inside and outside the container. We’ve uploaded the sounds we didn’t need and you can download them free here.
Lastly we uploaded the rest of the metal sound effects we’ve been recording over the last week. These include metal strips scraping on various surfaces including wood and brick.
