Skyclad Sound

Ever since I got my first shortwave radio and Fisher-Price tape recorder as a very young child, I have lived and breathed all things audio. Everything fascinated me about sound - from the strange beeps and squeaks that came through the speaker to the fact that, when you played some cassette tapes, you could hear the other side playing backwards in the background or future echoes of what was coming up on that side and it's been the same from that day to this. And so Skyclad Sound was born, out of my desire to produce pure, unvarnished, evocative sound. I love that the wildest sounds can be produced from the most mundane sources, with the designer's imagination being the only constraint. The sky's the limit. I love finding new things to make noises with from plastic to plugins. I have a house full of wind-chimes, a wardrobe full of toys...I mean props and a head full of ideas.
